Lying in his own bed: Bush will defeat himself

It's a sad day indeed for John Kerry, but also for the American people. We fought with dedication & strength, but the Republican's Campaign of Fear eventually beat our positive & enlightening campaign. Now, we need to be sharp, vigilant, & alert, because unfortunately, there WILL be another terror attack with Bush in office. Mark my words.

As Bush stated against Kerry, "a vote for John Kerry is a vote for Terror." Bush has made his own bed and will lie in it, meaning that if & WHEN there is another terror attack on Bush's watch in the next four years, it will mean HE has NOT kept us safe. I hope Americans are smart enough to correlate this fact (unlikely). I hope Americans will not galvanize behind him, but instead recognize that he safely let Osama Bin Laden go. Bin Laden's recent video proves that he is healthy and recruiting new Al Queda members. This video should have been a slap in the face & a deciding factor in voter's minds. But, hey, I regret that some people can't see their own toes against their fatuous bellies.

My other hope is that we can stand together against George Bush IF & WHEN this attack happens. Because unfortunately, with the lack of trust, antagonism, & hatred Bush has created around the world, it will happen. And we, New Yorkers, are getting ready to embrace it, along with other true forefront battle states, i.e. California, Washington DC, Illinois, and New York. How ironic these states were all won by John Kerry. Interesting.

Although I am not happy about Kerry conceding to Bush, Bush has a harder road for him now. The world and 1/2 of America is against him. We have a very divided country. The war in Iraq will become another Vietnam. Mark my words. And I can see our great dominion perishing over another four years. This may seem fatalistic, but Rome did not fall in one day. I would be happy if the conservative religious cult states separated from the Union. The Civil War was NOT won in 1865, but it is still on-going. These religious, prejudiced, backward hicks should have their own country, while our educated, progressive and innovative democratic states can move forward in another country.

Further, if we do indeed remain "solidified," I wish we could send all the red state children to war, while all the blue state children get an education. If the red states want a war mongerer & liar in office, they should be willing to sacrifice their children. NO??? Yes, let's see how Bush can cement his legacy as America's worst president. - Johanna
