Dear fellow friends and activists,

This article was buried in the NY Times today, but is considerably important. As it is Christmastime and no one truly wants to think of anything grave, please make the simple effort of reading only a few lines of this article. If compelled, rent or buy Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth." Upon seeing that, take on your own education and action:

1) Recycle, don't litter
2) Shut off energy when not using it
3) Buy a hybrid car, take mass transport, ride a bike to work!
4) Question your company about their efforts on less emissions.
5) Give to charitable organizations such as WWF or Wildlife Conservation that work to preserve nature and its animals
6) Adopt rather than have children
7) If you must pro-create, teach your children wise and gentle living.

From a Florida gal, now living as a snow bird-- let's do more than be reminded during this winter season...it is OUR responsibility to bring positive change in the world.

Peace and love,
Johanna
